Millennium 5-star combo guard Adan Diggs reclassifies to 2027 class

Millennium High School basketball’s combo guard Adan Diggs has reclassified from the 2028 recruiting class and into the 2027 class.

This means Diggs will be heading to college a year earlier than originally planned, still a blue-chip recruit.

Before this news, Diggs was the No. 1 recruit in the nation per Rivals/On3. Even with him now set to be recruited for the 2027 class, he is still their No. 1 prospect.

Not only that, but Diggs ranks better in 247Sports’ standard ranking after reclassifying. Diggs moves from No. 8 in the 2028 ranking to No. 4 in the 2027 ranking. The 247Sports ranking has Diggs as the top combo guard recruit in the country.

A five-star prospect by all recruiting services, Diggs has 24 Division I offers. These offers include Kentucky, UCLA and Kansas.

Diggs is also being offered by both Arizona and Arizona State. Arizona has only one combo guard on its roster right now. Per Eric Bossi of 247Sports, “Arizona has been thought to hold a slight edge in the early stages” of Diggs’ recruiting, but “the Wildcats are going to face stiff competition” from the other schools that have offered him.

At 6 feet, 5 inches, 180 pounds, Diggs is confident he does not need a fourth year of high school basketball. He is playing with Vegas Elite in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League this spring.
