Milan will be without Adrien Rabiot, Mario Gila and Diego Moreira for Sunday’s Serie A trip to Udinese.

According to Sky Sport Italia, none of the three have been included in Ruben Amorim’s squad for the game at the Bluenergy Stadium.

Rabiot has fatigue in his right calf, while Moreira has a similar problem in his left hamstring. Gila is suffering from inflammation in his left ankle caused by overload.

All three had been expected to return to the starting XI after Thursday’s 3-0 Europa League defeat at Bournemouth, where Rabiot came on at half-time and Moreira started.

Milan’s absentees pile up before Udinese

It is a significant blow for Amorim, who already has a long list of injuries. Samuel Chukwueze has been ruled out for at least two months with a hip problem, while Matteo Gabbia and Alexis Saelemaekers are out long term.

There is better news on Gonçalo Ramos, who has recovered from a calf issue and returned to full training on Friday.

Milan go into the game fourth on 15 points and still unbeaten in Serie A under Amorim. Udinese have lost five games in a row.

The Rossoneri face a busy week, hosting Bologna on Wednesday before the derby against Inter on 31 October. All three will be assessed ahead of those games.
