Metz accept Saudi offer for Alpha Touré

FC Metz, who last season suffered relegation to Ligue 2, have accepted an offer from a Saudi Arabian club for promising midfielder Alpha Touré (20), as per a report from L’Équipe.

Touré is one of those to have joined Les Grenats through the French club’s partnership with Génération Foot in Senegal. He made his Ligue 1 debut last season, having broken through at Metz during their promotion campaign a season earlier. The defensive midfielder played 30 games in France’s top-flight. 

The Senegal youth international is now set for a move to Saudi Arabia after Metz accepted a €7m offer (plus a further €3m in bonuses) from Al-Diraiyah, as per L’Équipe. The midfielder has now been authorised to discuss personal terms with the Gulf State club.

He will be one of several departures from Metz this summer, following their relegation. Defender Sadibou Sané is also on the verge of completing an exit. Get French Football News understands that he has signed a five-year deal with AS Monaco.
