Meet Louisville-area high school girls lacrosse player of the year nominees
The Louisville-area nominees for Courier Journal girls lacrosse athlete of the year delivered on the field throughout the 2026 season.
Voting is underway for The Courier Journal’s girls lacrosse athlete of the year. The poll closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, and the winner will be announced Friday.

Here are the nominees:
Senior was named Kentucky’s Midfielder of the Year and led the state with 110 goals and 53 assists.
Junior midfielder was a first-team All-State pick after posting 70 goals and 17 assists.
Senior was named Kentucky’s Goalkeeper of the Year after averaging 7.8 saves per game and allowing 6.9 goals per game.
Junior attacker was a first-team All-State pick after posting 58 goals and four assists.
Sophomore midfielder was a first-team All-State pick after scoring 26 goals and adding 43 assists.
