Meet Bettina Trump, the Palm Beach socialite, model, and influencer married to Donald Trump Jr.
- Donald Trump Jr., 48, and Bettina Trump, 39, celebrated their wedding in the Bahamas in May.
- Bettina Trump, a socialite, model, and influencer, comes from a prominent Palm Beach family.
- She was linked to Trump Jr. in September 2024, and they announced their engagement in December 2025.
She celebrated her bridal shower with members of the Trump family in April, ahead of her May nuptials.
Ivanka Trump, Tiffany Trump, and Lara Trump attended the large event, which was mostly held in the ballroom at Mar-a-Lago.
In a speech, Bettina Trump addressed Trump Jr., who was also in attendance.
“The truth is, I would marry you regardless of what your last name is or what family you come from because I think you’re the most incredible man I’ve ever met in my entire life,” she said in a speech, which she shared in a video on Instagram. “I’m also so proud to be joining your family.”
Trump Jr. and Bettina Trump married in a private legal ceremony on May 21 before holding another ceremony and lavish celebration in the Bahamas.
After their legal ceremony in Florida on May 21, Bettina Trump and Donald Trump Jr. held a small, family-only wedding ceremony in a chapel in the Bahamas on May 22.
“It was simple, sacred, beautiful, and more joyful than anything I could have ever dreamed,” she wrote on Instagram.
The ceremony was followed by a two-day celebration on a private island with around 50 guests.
She took Trump Jr.’s last name after the wedding, updating her Instagram handle to @bettinatrump.
In September, the couple confirmed a ProPublica report that Russian oligarch Umar Kremlev paid for their wedding celebrations in the Bahamas.
Kremlev, head of the International Boxing Association, has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. In September, ProPublica reported that he had paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund the Trumps’ lavish wedding celebrations, including renting out the private island and staging a fireworks show.
In an Instagram post, Bettina Trump confirmed that Kremlev had paid for the two-day party, which she characterized as separate from the wedding ceremony.
“Our dear friend Umar very generously hosted two incredible nights of celebrations for us AFTER our wedding,” she wrote in a post on her account signed by her and Trump Jr. “It was an extraordinarily generous wedding gift from a friend, and something for which we were and remain incredibly grateful.”
The ProPublica report raised concerns about a Russian oligarch and Putin ally gaining access to the president’s son, which Bettina Trump dismissed in the post.
“It’s unfortunate that something so personal and happy can be recast as something political or sinister simply because of who someone is or where they come from,” she wrote, adding, “sometimes a wedding gift is simply a wedding gift.”
