McNeil vs Lake Travis football: Updates on Class 6A district opener

Lake Travis begins district schedule with a trip to Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex to take on McNeil.

The Cavaliers (1-1-1) are starting District 25-6A play after a 48-35 loss to San Antonio Cornerstone Christian a week ago. UIL realignment moved Lake Travis, which won District 26-6A last year, to its new Round Rock-heavy district in February.

McNeil (0-4) will hope to get its first win of the season with a triumph over the Cavaliers. The Mavericks lost 56-28 to Vista Ridge last week.
