Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea eye Tyrick Mitchell

According to TEAMtalk, Manchester United are considering a January move for Tyrick Mitchell as they look to strengthen at left-back. The Crystal Palace defender is entering the final year of his contract, a situation that could make him available for a reduced fee before he becomes a free agent in the summer of 2027.

United apparently view the 27-year-old England international as an experienced and reliable option who could help solve a position that has caused problems in recent seasons. Mitchell is also seen as a significantly cheaper alternative to other targets, including Lewis Hall of Newcastle.

However, United are not alone in the race. Liverpool are also monitoring Mitchell’s situation as they assess their options at left-back. The Reds reportedly see him as a dependable, homegrown player who could add competition and depth to the squad.

Chelsea have also been credited with an interest, attracted by the possibility of signing an established Premier League performer without having to commit to a major transfer fee.

Palace remain hopeful of convincing Mitchell to sign a new contract, but if no agreement is reached, a three-way battle could emerge when the January transfer window opens.
