Malik Olajuwon, the son of NBA Hall of Famer and former UH star Hakeem Olajuwon, commits to SMU

Malik Olajuwon, the son of NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon, committed to SMU on Thursday, recruiting website Rivals reported.

Olajuwon, a four-star shooting guard from IMG Academy in Florida, picked the Mustangs over Minnesota, according to On3/Rivals’ Joe Tipton. 

A Sugar Land native, Olajuwon is ranked the No. 69 overall project in the class of 2027.
