Malen: “Roma is fantastic, I want to win trophies there.”

Donyell Malen is looking for his first goal at this World Cup, where he’s already secured a place in the round of 32 with the Netherlands, facing Morocco.

Meanwhile, he’s enjoying his performance against Roma, who have been promoted to the Champions League thanks to a series of goals.

The striker spoke to La Gazzetta dello Sport, and here’s an excerpt: “One of the reasons that convinced me to leave the Premier League to move to Italy in January was the guarantee that I would play in the center of the attack. My conversation with Gasperini influenced my decision. For me, it was a very important factor.”

“I’m more than convinced I made the right choice. So far, everything is wonderful: the welcome, the integration, the relationships with the people. Rome is a fantastic place to be. We’re all very happy, because I’ve settled into reality quickly.”
