Luka Doncic’s Offseason Transformation Has Lakers Fans Excited
Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic is in Europe this offseason, spending time with his daughters while rehabilitating from his hamstring injury.
Doncic missed the entire postseason and the end of the regular season after his left hamstring tore.
Despite talk about Doncic possibly coming back in time for the playoffs, the Slovenian and the Lakers decided against being irresponsible and held him out.
He has been a star for years, but Doncic is only 27 years old, and the organization was intent on protecting his long-term future, which LA hopes will be in purple and gold.

While he takes time out for his family and to reset, Doncic is not leaving basketball in the rearview mirror. In fact, he looks to be in sensational shape.
The Lakers’ official X account posted a photo of Doncic with a new fashion accessory, looking to be in sensational shape, even better than last offseason.
Lakers fans are taking notice of his shape and new look, and to say they are excited would be an understatement.
“hes going to tear it up next season, this team has multiple ball handlers and playmaking. he wont need to play a full 1st quarter to start the game and can manage his minutes thru out the game,” one user commented under the Lakers’ post.
“Damn Headband Luka looking extra fine in that Lakers fit,” another said.
“PLEASE ROCK THE HEADBAND NEXT SEASON @lukadoncic,” a third added.
“MVP and Championship soon I can smell it,” a fourth wrote.

The Lakers will want a healthy Doncic who has made any possible changes to stay healthy.
He has been injured during his time with the Lakers, and with his physical style of play, he needs to handle wear and tear better.

Additionally, any additional lateral movement would be game-changing, unlocking an ability to put his size to use and defend at a level better than normal.
If he can stay healthy and tick his defense up a bit, Doncic will be an MVP, even with all of the other elite players in his era.
