After a disappointing opening match—one salvaged by a last-kick equalizer—The Reds return to Anfield for an early kickoff against a side that has been a thorn in their sides in recent season, Nottingham Forest.

Despite falling short on the result, there were some green shoots from last week’s performance. Liverpool once again looked like a side that was full of fight, and one that can once again threaten sides in attack. If Andoni Iraola can make Liverpool a little tighter in defense, we might actually be a competent side this season.
