Liverpool have sealed a deal to sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 23-year-old arrives on a multi-year contract for a fee worth over £120m inclusive of add-ons. Richard Hughes has finally got his man – putting an end to a summer-long chase for a world-class winger.

The 2024/25 Premier League champions won’t be stopping there however. Plans are afoot to sign AT LEAST one more wide forward before the window closes on Tuesday.

Liverpool want more wingers

The names of Yankuba Minteh and Ismaila Sarr are well known at this stage – with both wingers said to be keen on making the move to Anfield.

It is likely we will see Cody Gakpo – as well as Harvey Elliott and potentially Federico Chiesa – leave as Hughes and Andoni Iraola finalise their winger options ahead of deadline day.

Liverpool hold Pedro Neto talks

There is now a new name in the frame however with Football Transfers claiming that Liverpool want to sign Pedro Neto from Chelsea.

Indeed it’s been suggested that talks are already underway with the Portugal international – who started and scored for Xabi Alonso’s Blues against Brighton on Sunday.

The Merseysiders are attempting to sound out the 26-year-old’s willingness to depart Stamford Bridge late in the window – with the player said to be keen to take the right offer.

Chelsea would sell Pedro Neto to Liverpool for £75m

Chelsea for their part would seek £75m before letting go of the former Wolves standout – who has been on the Liverpool radar since his days with the Old Gold.

He is described as a potential Gakpo replacement – although he has played a significant chunk of his Premier League minutes on the right wing.

Neto therefore looks like an alternative to Minteh and Sarr – in case a deal fails to get over the line for one or the other.

Brighton want £80m for Minteh while Crystal Palace’s asking price for Sarr is approaching that figure too.

The Reds are expecting to rake in £85m for Gakpo once his deal to Manchester City goes through.
