Leicester City confirm departure of defender in permanent deal

Wout Faes has completed a permanent move to UAE Pro League side Shabab AlAhli Dubai FC from Leicester City.

The Belgium international leaves after four years at the club, having joined from Ligue 1 side Reims in 2022.

Faes made 136 appearances in all competitions during his time at the club and scored six goals.

The 28-year-old centre-back will now continue his career in the UAE after an agreement was reached for his permanent transfer.
