‘Leave Regina alone’ – Ned Nwoko cries out, begs Nigerians over estrange wife's health

Delta North Senator, Ned Nwoko has made a passionate appeal to Nigerians, bloggers and fans to give his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, breathing space to recover.

Nwoko made the appeal in a statement shared on his Instagram page on Monday amid their ongoing marital crisis.

He said he is worried over the circulation of what he described as fake reports about the actress, including fabricated death announcements and misleading stories about her health.

“I want to make a sincere appeal to the public, particularly Regina’s fans, friends, bloggers and social media commentators, to please give Regina some breathing space,” he said.

According to the billionaire lawmaker, he is making the appeal not just for the sake of the actress but also the kids.

He further stated that their kids deserve to see their mother supported, loved and given every opportunity to get better.

Nwoko added that Regina, who shared a video of herself in a wheelchair talking about her health challenges, has been through a lot and needs love and support, not judgement, warning that he will not tolerate the spread of false information about her health and personal life.

Recall that Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko’s marriage crisis became public in October 2025, with the actress leaving their matrimonial home.
