LASUSTECH Records Outstanding Success in 2025 Accreditation Exercise

The Vice-Chancellor Professor Olumuyiwa Omotola Odusanya Is pleased to inform the University community of the outcomes of the year 2025 accreditation of undergraduate programmes by the National Universities Commission.

The University performed excellently obtaining full accreditation in 13 of the 14 programmes presented and interim accreditation in only one.

The results are as follows:

College of Applied Social Sciences

  1. Insurance – full accreditation

  2. Tourism and Hospitality Management – full accreditation

College of Environmental Design and Technology

  1. Estate Management and Valuation – full accreditation

  2. Quantity Surveying – full accreditation

  3. Building Technology – full accreditation

  4. Urban and Regional Planning – full accreditation

College of Engineering and Technology

  1. Food Science and Bio-Technology – full accreditation

  2. Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering – full accreditation

  3. Civil and construction engineering – full accreditation

  4. Computer Engineering – full accreditation

  5. Mechanical Engineering – full accreditation

  6. Mechatronics Engineering – full accreditation

  7. Electrical and Electronics Engineering – Interim accreditation

The university also secured full accreditation for Architecture from the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria.

By this development, the new University has achieved success in all its 39 programs so far presented for accreditation since it emergence and has not failed any.

The Vice-Chancellor is deeply grateful to all members of staff and students for these outstanding achievements.

He further urges the University to build on this successful trajectory in preparation for the 2026 accreditation exercise.
