LASOMA Masters & PhD Scholarships for FULokoja and FUTminna Students

Applications are now open for the 2026 LASOMA (Laser Enabled Manufacturing of Solar Systems) Scholarship Programme for African students seeking Masters and PhD opportunities in engineering and related disciplines.

The scholarship programme is aimed at building research capacity in solar manufacturing across Africa through advanced laser technologies and AI-powered systems. The initiative is supported by the African Union and co-funded by the European Union.

Applicants must be nationals of an African country.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines.
Applicants should demonstrate strong academic and research potential.
