Lance Heard and Coleton Price named to preseason watch lists

Kentucky Wildcats senior center Coleton Price has been tabbed to The Rimington Trophy preseason watch list for the nation’s top center. This marks the second straight season Price earned a spot on The Rimington Trophy’s preseason watch list.

Meanwhile, senior left tackle Lance Heard has been named to the preseason watch list for the Outland Trophy, given annually to the nation’s top offensive/defensive lineman.

Price, who played his previous three seasons at Baylor, has seen action in 32 career games and made 30 starts. Last season, he logged 842 snaps while earning an 83.6 pass-block grade and a 69.5 run-block grade from Pro Football Focus. He allowed just one sack, six quarterback hurries and seven total pressures, while starting 11 of 12 games.

As for Heard, he transferred to Kentucky this past offseason after two seasons at Tennessee and one season at LSU.  He’s played 35 career games (24 starts) while allowing just three sacks in his career. He was a Third-Team All-SEC pick after making all 12 starts at left tackle for the Volunteers in 2025. He earned a 72.3 pass-blocking grade and a 69.7 run-blocking grade from PFF across 887 total snaps.
