LaMelo Ball is officially moving on from Charlotte.

The former Hornets star, 25, has listed his luxury uptown Charlotte condo for $2.6 million after being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in a blockbuster deal in late June.

According to Realtor.com, the 3,495-square-foot property features four bedrooms, four-and-a-half bathrooms, and some seriously luxurious amenities.

Located inside The Trust, an exclusive seven-residence building in the heart of uptown Charlotte, the condo offers sweeping city views, soaring ceilings, and marble floors with gold detailing. There’s also a gourmet kitchen with a massive waterfall island, a custom wet bar, and an elaborate dressing room that could rival a designer boutique.

LaMelo Ball’s Charlotte condo has surprising connection to NFL star Cam Newton

Before becoming an owner, Ball rented the unit from Carolina Panthers star Cam Newton. He later purchased the condo from the NFL quarterback for $2.47 million in 2024, according to the Charlotte Business Journal.

He also purchased a second unit in the building on the floor below the property for $2.2 million, per Realtor.

Newton isn’t the only sports figure with ties to the upscale building. NBA legend and former Hornets minority owner Michael Jordan also owns property there.

The listing comes as Ball prepares for his first season with the Timberwolves.

The 2021 NBA Rookie of the Year spent six seasons with Charlotte before the June trade sent him and Josh Green to Minnesota in exchange for Naz Reid and future draft picks.
