LaLiga: Real Madrid team is more important - Mourinho hints at benching Vinicius Jr

Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has dropped a big hint that he is ready to leave Vinicius Jr on the bench for their next fixtures.

Vinicius Jr has been in poor form this season, scoring only once in all competitions.

The Brazilian is currently serving a three-match ban in LaLiga, a situation that allowed Yan Diomande to come into the team and impress.

With Vinicius Jr coming to the end of his suspension, Mourinho was asked about having selection headaches.

He said: “The team is what matters most.

“It’s true that Vinicius has played in the last two Champions League matches.

“But once things return to normal and he is fully available, I will manage the situation accordingly.”
