LaLiga: Real Madrid agree deal with Chelsea to sign Cucurella

Real Madrid has agreed a deal to sign Marc Cucurella from Chelsea this summer.

The LaLiga giants have moved to bring in the Spanish left-back on the demand of new manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho has gone about reinforcing his defence, having added Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries to the Madrid squad.

Cucurella is the latest to join the rebuilding at the Bernabeu.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X on Sunday: “EXCLUSIVE: Real Madrid reach verbal agreement to sign Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, HERE WE GO!

“Verbal agreement in place between all parties, player too — he’s the left back wanted by Mourinho. Details to follow.

“Cucurella leaves #CFC and joins Madrid after World Cup.”
