Lady alleges Reekado Banks’ management failed to honour promise

A Nigerian lady has publicly accused the management of popular singer Reekado Banks of failing to fulfil a compensation promise allegedly made to her after she joined the artiste on stage during a performance.

In a video circulating online, the lady recounted her experience, stating that she enjoyed dancing with Reekado Banks on stage and was preparing to leave when a member of the singer’s management team approached her.

According to her, the manager informed her that she would receive compensation for participating in the performance, despite the fact that she had neither requested nor expected any payment.

She said the manager exchanged contact details with her, after which she sent a message introducing herself. However, she claimed that she did not receive any further response.

The lady further alleged that a few days later, another individual who identified himself as a member of Reekado Banks’ team contacted her to inquire whether she had received the promised compensation.

Seeking clarification, she said she reached out to the initial manager to confirm the identity of the person who contacted her. According to her, the manager requested a screenshot of their conversation, which she promptly sent.

However, she claimed that the manager subsequently left her message unanswered, she added that despite following up again days later, she received no response and the issue remained unresolved.

Expressing her disappointment, the lady said she would not have expected any payment if it had not been offered to her in the first place.

“It’s not even about the money. If they had not offered compensation, I wouldn’t have expected anything. But once a promise is made, it should be honoured and properly communicated.”

As of the time of filing this report, Reekado Banks and his management team have not publicly responded to the allegation.
