Kyle Kuzma takes a dig at New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani with ‘not just free’ comment

Kyle Kuzma has continued to go after New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, with his latest comment asking people to ‘read the fine print.’

Kuzma has made his dislike of Mamdani and his brand of politics no secret, taking aim at his policies multiple times on social media.

And now, in another wave of comments critiquing the idea of socialism, Kuzma has once again dismissed Mamdani and his policies as mayor.

Taking to X, Kyle Kuzma suggested that Zohran Mamdani’s initiatives to make grocery stores and other amenities in New York free aren’t going to work in the long run.

He suggested that the publicly funded grocery stores are eventually going to lead the city to run out of money, which will lead to a disaster.

“Nobody wants to read the fine print on NYC. Everything is not just free and fine and dandy lol. Two-thirds of the money funding all this expires in 2027. Not an accident.

“You build it to look like it works righttttt up until the moment someone has to pay for it, and by then everything is running on the highlight reel. Everyone’s clapping at something with no foundation. Oooof.”

Unsurprisingly, Kuzma faced criticism from a lot of fans, as they suggested that he didn’t properly understand Mamdani’s policies.

Prior to this post on X, Kuzma had shared a video that criticised socialism and explained how it actually works against people.

So for him to then go after Mamdani, a self-avowed Democratic Socialist who has implemented welfare policies often seen in socialism, shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Kuzma has previously criticised Mamdani for acting like he had more authority than he actually has as the Mayor of New York.

“A mayor playing president. A founder playing operator. A content creator playing one-on-one, thinking he’s a pro.

“A 25yr old with a ring light playing economist. Everyone auditioning. Nobody building. We’re raising a generation that’s learning the reward isn’t in doing the thing; it’s in looking like you did the thing.

Kuzma hasn’t been very direct in his criticism of Mamdani, never going beyond the surface to explain his real issue with the Mayor.

After everything he has said, don’t expect Kuzma at any of the city-run grocery stores in New York City any time soon.
