Kogi State Poly Post-UTME 2026: Cut off mark, Eligibility and Registration Procedures
The Management of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja wishes to inform all candidates seeking admission into the institution for the 2026/2027 Academic Session that registration for the post-UTME screening exercise will commence on Monday, 25th May 2026 and close on Tuesday, 30th June 2026.

School of General and Communication Studies
- Candidates must have chosen Kogi State Polytechnic as their institution of choice in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 100.

Applicants must possess a minimum of five (5) O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.

Candidates must take note of the required subject combinations for each programme as displayed on the Polytechnic’s admission portal, and ensure they meet the specific requirements for their chosen course.

Candidates who are awaiting O’Level results and meet the minimum UTME score of 100 may apply but must indicate their status appropriately during registration.

Eligible candidates should visit the Polytechnic’s official website:portal: https://portal.kogistatepolytechnic.edu.ng and click on “Apply Now”.

Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₦2,000 (Two Thousand Naira) only.
• Preference shall be given to candidates who selected Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja as their first-choice institution and have successfully uploaded the required five (5) O’Level credits on the JAMB portal.
• All applicants are strongly advised to use their correct details during registration.
• Any falsification of information will lead to automatic disqualification.
• The Polytechnic will not engage the services of any agent. Candidates are advised to avoid third-party interference in the registration process.
