Kingussie kept their Premiership title hopes alive with just two minutes to spare as they snatched a late 2-1 success over Lochaber at Spean Bridge.

Skye confirmed their top-flight survival with a 4-1 home win over Col Glen, who now look all but relegated along with Kyles Athletic.

Kinlochshiel boosted their chances of finishing third by beating the other contenders Oban Camanachd 3-1 at Rearaig.

Kingussie, needing to win their last two games to overhaul Newtonmore on goal difference, were shocked when Stuart Callison fired Lochaber in front after 15 minutes.

Calum McLay equalised early in the second half, but it appeared as though their efforts would be in vain as time ticked away.

However, captain Ruaridh Anderson scored in the 88th minute to seal a dramatic win, one which means Kingussie must now beat Kinlochshiel in their final game on 7 November to retain their title.

A Dan MacDonald hat-trick and a goal from Archie Millar secured Skye’s victory with Neilly MacNaughton grabbing a consolation for Col Glen.

A point would have guaranteed Lochaber’s safety and relegated Col Glen, who now have to overturn an eight-goal disadvantage in their last game, against Skye on 7 November.

WD MacRae and Ali Nixon gave Kinlochshiel a 2-0 half-time lead. Iain Duffy responded for Oban and Keith MacRae made the final score 3-1.

The National Division ended with a 7-1 home win for Inveraray over Bute, headlined by a hat-trick from Fraser Watt.
