Musa also pointed to investments by the Kaduna State Government in the institution, saying more than N290 million had been spent on resource verification and the accreditation of over 90 academic programmes.
According to him, KASU has equally expanded its international collaborations through partnerships with institutions such as Benha University, the Institut Sains dan Unjuk Kerja in Jakarta and the Makkah International Centre for Qur’anic Guidance.
The Vice-Chancellor added that the university had received a N1 billion competitive research grant from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) to support research and development in commercial agriculture.

He further cited government support for students, including more than N1 billion in scholarship payments and a 50 per cent reduction in tuition fees.
