Juventus prepare shock Lorenzo Pellegrini move after Zeki Celik coup

Serie A side Juventus have sealed a deal for former Roma full-back Zeki Celik but that may not be the end of shock moves from the Bianconeri.

La Gazzetta dello Sport – like TuttoSport, report that there is a chance Juve swoop in for Lorenzo Pellegrini, whose Roma contract has already expired. The Giallorossi showed slowness in their move to hand Celik a new deal and similar signs have been observed in their moves for Pellegrini.

In recent days, the midfielder has been approached by intermediaries who have expressed Juve’s interest.

Luciano Spalletti is a big fan of the player, having seen him close from his time with the national team. FOr now, Pellegrini has declined Juve’s approaches but the no might not be definitive, even if he is hoping for a renewal with the Italian capital club.

Rush on for Roma

This is one way for those around the player to rush Roma into handing a new deal to Pellegrini. Whether that has been deliberately done or not remains to be seen but it is a sign that the Giallorossi can’t afford to miss out a renewal again, with the Zelik situation having already impacted them.
