Juventus hopes to sign Real Madrid man on a free transfer

Juventus have had a long-standing interest in Brahim Diaz and hope to add him to their squad at the end of this season as a free agent from Real Madrid.

In the last transfer window, the Spanish side opted to keep Diaz, and he also wanted to remain, even though they knew that he could become a free agent at the end of this term. Juventus continue to monitor his situation closely.

Diaz’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2027, and he hopes to secure a new contract. However, there have been no talks so far, and it appears that Madrid could allow him to leave the club.

Real Madrid Could Allow Diaz To Leave

The Spanish side likes the idea of Diaz staying if he can find a place in the team under Jose Mourinho, but if that does not happen, they reportedly have no problem allowing him to leave.

This is why they have not handed him a new deal just yet, and that is good news for Juve. Tuttomercatoweb reports that the men in black and white hope to sign him for free.

Juventus would see the opportunity to bring Diaz to Turin without paying a transfer fee as an attractive one. The Bianconeri have maintained their interest in the midfielder and appear ready to explore the possibility of reaching an agreement.

Juventus Prepare To Approach Diaz

From January, Diaz can speak to Juventus about making a move to Turin as a free agent, and the Bianconeri have been making plans to begin those talks.

Juve will therefore hope Madrid do not open contract negotiations with Diaz before then. If the Spanish side decides against offering him a new deal, Juventus could have a clear opportunity to pursue the player.

For now, much depends on Diaz’s situation at Real Madrid and whether he can establish himself under Mourinho. If that does not happen, Juventus could be ready to take advantage of the situation and attempt to bring him to Turin.
