Juventus continue to be linked with former Serie A goal machine

With goals still not coming frequently for Randal Kolo Muani, Juventus could be tempted to enter the transfer market for free agents soon, and one player is reportedly waiting for their approach.

The Bianconeri have so far been one of the top teams in the country and have continued to do their best to ensure that they score and win matches. However, their need for greater attacking output remains an issue as they look to maintain their performances.

They need goals from their strikers, and Kolo Muani has struggled to provide that for them so far. Nick Woltemade only joined the Bianconeri in the last few weeks, meaning Juventus are still waiting to see whether he can become a reliable source of goals for the team.

Juve are sure they will get goals from him, but if they decide to enter the market for a new player, there is already an option waiting for them. Tuttojuve reports that Mauro Icardi remains keen to join the club, although there is currently no formal approach from the Bianconeri.

Icardi Remains Available for Juventus

Icardi is a free agent after leaving Galatasaray at the end of last season, and the Argentinian has already conquered Serie A earlier in his career. That experience could make him an attractive option for Juventus if they decide that another striker is needed.

His availability also means that Juventus could consider him without having to negotiate a transfer fee with another club. However, his current situation does not mean that a move to Turin is close, with the latest information suggesting that no formal discussions have taken place.

For now, Icardi remains an option who has been presented to the Bianconeri rather than a player actively being pursued by the club. Juventus will therefore have to decide whether his experience and previous success in Serie A make him a suitable solution.

Juventus Yet to Make an Approach

The report adds that Juve have not made a formal approach for Icardi at the moment. The attacker has only been offered to them, so there is no indication that a deal is currently being negotiated between the two parties.

That leaves the situation open, particularly if Juventus continue to struggle for goals from their current attacking options. Should they decide to look for additional firepower, Icardi could remain available, but any move would depend on the club choosing to make an approach.
