Speaking to Real Madrid’s official media after the match, Bellingham described the achievement as a special moment but was quick to shift the focus towards the team.
“It’s very special to reach 50 goals for Real Madrid. Not just for me and my dreams, but also for the team.
“It’s very important that all the players score goals and make a difference in matches.
“Sometimes it’ll be Mbappe, Vini Jr., Arda Güler or me, but the important thing is that everyone helps the team. That’s what matters most,” said Bellingham.

Bellingham also reserved praise for Yan Diomande, whose impressive finish made it 3-0 before half-time.
The midfielder was particularly impressed by the quality of the strike and referenced the youngster’s previous goal against RB Leipzig.
“It was an incredible goal. I didn’t know he could shoot like that, but he’s very good. The goal against Leipzig was brilliant too.
“He’s a special player and we’re very happy to have him in our squad,” said the Englishman.
Real Madrid turn attention to upcoming fixtures
Despite the convincing result, Bellingham insisted that Real Madrid are already looking ahead.
The victory followed their win at the Camp Nou, making another positive result important as the team seeks to maintain its momentum.

“We played really well. It was very important to win after our victory at the Camp Nou, so we’re very happy.
“Now the most important thing is the next match. The win against Barcelona was great and today’s was too, but now our focus is on the next match against Athens and then against Valencia.
“Nobody’s thinking any further ahead than that,” added Bellingham.
Lastly, he also welcomed the clean sheet, explaining that defensive solidity was something the manager regularly demanded from the entire squad.
“It’s something the manager always tells us. It’s down to the whole team, but I think it’s a bit more special and important for the defenders, Courtois or Lunin.
“It’s very important for them because it means they’re playing really well and very competitively,” he concluded.
