Josh Hart gives hilarious honest assessment of Jalen Brunson’s SNL hosting appearance

New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson was recently the host of Saturday Night Live, and one of his teammates, Josh Hart, has now commented on how he fared.

The Knicks won their first championship in 53 years earlier in 2026, and Brunson has kept himself pretty busy in the offseason.

Back in July, Jalen appeared on a WWE show alongside champion Roman Reigns and was presented with a custom belt.

Now, he has been making headlines for his SNL hosting performance, which Hart recently described as ‘fine’.

Speaking to the media, the Knicks star was asked what he thought of Brunson’s performance.

He responded: “I think his performance was fine, I don’t think he has a future in acting,” to which a number of people in the room then laughed.

Brunson discussed a number of topics while appearing on SNL, including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden.

He also poked fun at Stephen A Smith and featured in a High School Musical sketch.

But after a busy summer, Jalen and the rest of the Knicks will now turn their attention to preseason, with their first game getting underway on October 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers.
