Josh Allen doesn't care how pretty (or ugly) Bills' OT win vs. Rams was
Pretty or not, it’s a Buffalo Bills win.
The Bills (4-1) beat the LA Rams (2-3) on “Monday Night Football in Week 5 in a 37-34 final. It was an overtime affair that was fun for the neutral fan.
For those in Buffalo and Los Angeles, there were plenty of concerns to be found regardless of the way the outcome went.
As for the Bills, pass rusher Greg Rousseau was the hero as he blocked a potential game-winning kick in overtime which gave the ball back to his team… that huge play came after Buffalo running back James Cook fumbled the ball away in overtime.
Quarterback Josh Allen, who wasn’t at his best passing, took over from there. Allen did so with his legs instead.
Allen, who had 210 passing yards and 121 on the ground, did not care how it looked. It was his first-career win in overtime (1-7 overall), the Bills QB will take the win.
“It’s awesome,” Allen said. “We’ll take ’em how we get ’em. However ugly, however pretty it looks. We score more than them? We did our job.”
Head coach Joe Brady felt similar.
“We weren’t good passing the ball tonigt,” Brady said via video conference. I hope (Allen’s) legs aren’t the answer always.”

Josh Allen on why he ran more vs Rams: “That’s just how the game rolled.. Our guys blocked well, ran the ball well. want to hang onto the football. Two turnovers not good enough.”
