Celebrity row was brimming with stars during Game 3 of the NBA Finals, from usual suspects Ben Stiller and Timothee Chalamet to Derek Jeter and Eli Manning.

Only one found himself on the wrong end of a collision with a player: 84-year-old former New York City mayor Mike Bloomberg.

Bloomberg took the brunt of a hit from Knicks guard Jose Alvarado, who chased a loose ball all the way into the former mayor’s lap. Fortunately, Bloomberg gave a thumbs-up to indicate he was fine.

After Mikal Bridges deflected a ball toward the sideline during a Spurs possession, Alvarado barreled into celebrity row with no regard for his body — or anyone else’s.

The Knicks reserve guard ran over Bloomberg, who briefly reached for his face after the collision but appeared to be fine and didn’t require any medical attention. Bloomberg was sitting just two seats away from Yankees legend Derek Jeter.

After the collision, Alvarado took a moment to make sure the former mayor was okay.

Bloomberg is 84 and has a small frame to begin with, but fortunately, Alvarado is small by NBA standards at 6-0 and about 180 pounds.

Mike Bloomberg net worth

If Bloomberg had to pay for his tickets, he didn’t have a hard time coming up with the money. Forbes estimates the former mayor is worth $109.4 billion, making him the 17th-richest person in the world.

Bloomberg might be a Knicks fan, but he is also a minority owner of the Timberwolves in a group that includes former Yankees star Alex Rodriguez. Bloomberg is also part of the Baltimore Orioles’ ownership group.
