“My reaction was, dude, at least stick it,” Harbaugh said while appearing on the ‘Bleav in Giants’ podcast with Bob Papa and Carl Banks. “Land the thing if you’re gonna do it.”

Harbaugh added that “Skat’s gonna be ready to go” training camp. He said he had not spoken to the second-year running back about the incident.

“He’s been working super-hard. He’s really been training like crazy, and his mind is on camp,” Harbaugh said. “He’s healthy. He’s ready to roll, and I can’t wait to see him out there at practice.”

Skattebo reacted to the furor over his flop by saying “I will not hurt myself before the season.”

Skattebo was a fourth-round pick by the Giants in 2025. He averaged 4.1 yards per carry in eight games before being injured. The Giants are anticipating he and Tyrone Tracy will form a solid combination at running back.
