Jets to debut white helmets in 2026 home opener

Jets fans will get their first chance to see their team in Week 2 of the 2026 season and they’ll also get a look at the team’s new helmets.

The Jets announced that they will be wearing their new white alternate helmets for their September 20 game against the Packers at MetLife Stadium. The white helmets will have the Jets’ logo in green along with a green stripe down the center, which is an inversion of the color scheme of their regular green helmets.

The team will match those helmets with white jerseys and white pants. The team is also calling on fans to “start planning your gameday fit” as part of what they are calling a “White Out” for the first home date of the regular season.

There’s no word on whether the white helmets will make another appearance during the 2026 season.
