Jeremy Renner Officially Finds Mayor Of Kingstown Replacement With New Action Thriller

Mayor of Kingstown star Jeremy Renner is returning to the action genre with a new movie.

Recently, Deadline reported that Renner is set to star in 12 Bullets, an upcoming action thriller from John Wick producer Thunder Road. The movie follows a mysterious American who battles rival criminal gangs across London with only one gun and 12 bullets. Sean Ellis (Anthropoid) will direct from a screenplay by Tim Walker, with Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee producing. The thriller will be released as a Sky Original in the UK and Ireland, while a North American release has not yet been announced.
