The Cavaliers pulled out all the stops to run-rule three seed Washington 11-0 for the title. Tya Devericks commanded the circle in the win, only allowing one hit across five innings with two strikeouts and a walk. Senior and SDSU commit Macy Bryant finished atop the box score with two doubles and a two run blast from her last at bat in her Jefferson career.

“They just had a really one game focus every game,” head coach Ed Whiting said. “The next game was always the most important game, the one that they were gonna play and they didn’t really do too much looking forward or looking back.”

“I couldn’t have done it without all my teams and with my team and my supporters, everybody having my back and at my side,” Bryant said. “I’m honestly just proud of everybody else and grateful for all the support we’ve had this year. ”
