Drama makes the world go round. It was only a matter of time until there was in-season drama between Jaylen Brown and the Celtics.

Brown was traded by the Celtics to the 76ers over three months ago. The No. 3 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft was moved in exchange for draft picks and Paul George.

It ended a run where Brown teamed with Jayson Tatum for years. They won a title together and became a true dynamic duo.

There have been plenty of reactions to Brown being traded. In the latest episode of his “Summer of Tatum” video series, Tatum revealed he was so caught off guard by the trade.

“Bro, we was in Vegas,” Tatum explained. “I just got done playing pickup the first day. Sham walked over. He handed me the towel. He was like, ‘Yo, put this over your face. Don’t react. They just traded them.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, s—.’ I’m like, ‘Where?’ He said, ‘Philly.’ I said, ‘They traded them down the street.’ So I was just as much caught off guard as the rest of the world.”

The 76ers are 2-0 on the year. Their last game was a historic comeback win against the Cavaliers. Brown scored 21 points in 38 minutes and had six assists. What he did after the 29-point comeback win caught people’s interest.

Brown responded to Tatum’s comments with the “cap” emoji. That typically means someone isn’t telling the truth.

The Celtics and 76ers faced off in the preseason. However, it will be interesting when the two officially meet in the regular season. Boston travels to Philadelphia on November 10.
