JAMB has disclosed that the cut-off marks for admissions into universities, polytechnics and other tertiary institutions will be decided during the 2023 policy meeting which has been scheduled to hold on June 24th, 2023.
The planned event will hold at the National Judicial Institute and will have in attendance all heads of tertiary institutions and regulatory bodies such as the National Universities Commission, National Board for Technical Education, the National Commission for Colleges of Education, among others.

Apart from the announcement of the minimum admission cut-off marks, the meeting will chart policy directions for the nation’s tertiary institutions, set admission guidelines, and make a holistic review of application statistics, performance, decide concessional and acceptable minimum admissions standards to be applied in all admissions to be undertaken by all tertiary institutions in Nigeria as well as evaluate the 2023 admission exercise.
The announcement of the cut-off marks will officially signal the commencement of the 2023/2024 admission exercise. This means that schools will start announcing sales of their Post-UTME forms almost immediately after the meeting. As usual. we will provide you updates regarding the cut-off marks and the Post-UTME announcements from the various schools.
