Ja’Marr Chase is chasing an NFL single-season touchdown record

· · 1 min read

Ja’Marr Chase has become one of the NFL’s premier receivers ever since getting drafted to the Cincinnati Bengals and reunited with Joe Burrow. He is up there with the top names in the sport as fellow LSU teammate Justin Jefferson also sits atop the leaderboard for top wide-outs in the league.

However, Chase has his eye on setting an NFL record instead of just becoming the clear-cut top WR1 in the league. In a recent sit-down after a training camp practice, Chase made it known he is targeting the NFL single-season record of 23 receiving touchdowns set by Randy Moss in 2007.

If Chase could make this happen, not only would he be seen as the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in the NFL, but the Bengals would likely also be having a great season in the Queen City. With the connection that Burrow and Chase have, though, it seems more likely this could eventually happen than it didn’t.

Let’s hope it does. We have needed something major to cheer for the last few seasons, and this would be a win-win all around.
