Jake Paul mocks Conor McGregor injury in viral video. You expected sympathy?

If Conor McGregor is looking for compassion, Jake Paul is probably not the person to call.

McGregor failed to make it beyond 69 seconds of his comeback fight and Paul seized the moment for derision. Paul posted a video to his X account making fun of McGregor, with Paul kicking his left leg twice before grabbing his right leg, howling and falling into a pool with a splash.

The video is captioned “UFC highlights from tonight.” His prior post was of dozens of laughing emojis.

Paul and McGregor had exchanged barbs in the past, most initiated by Paul’s attempts to fight McGregor. Might there be a possibility of marketing the man with the bum leg and the man with the broken jaw?

Of course, Paul famously suffered a broken jaw when Anthony Joshua knocked him out in the sixth round of their fight on Dec. 19, 2025.

Paul has said he had a second surgery for the injury and said he expected to be training by the end of the year.

Would Paul and McGregor face off in the boxing ring or a cage?

Paul has said he’s interested in an MMA fight but has none under his belt. McGregor has boxed once − against Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2018. Although he lost by TKO in the 10th round, he reportedly made more than $100 million.
