Jake Bennett takes the ball to even series vs. Angels

The Red Sox have cut their magic number for a postseason spot to five despite losing the first of three games in Texas on Tuesday night. Boston looks to take another step closer to October. The ballclub will do so with Jake Bennett on the mound, who struggled with six earned runs last time out during the overall disappointing series against the Angels.

The Rangers counter with lefty Mackenzie Gore, who has allowed nine earned runs in just seven innings over his last two starts.
