Jaguars UDFA profile: Can OL Jimto Obidegwu make 53-man roster push?

· · 1 min read

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they signed 18 undrafted free agents following the conclusion of the 2026 NFL draft. Let’s take a closer look at these players and highlight why each could make a potential roster push.

Up next is North Texas offensive tackle Jimto Obidegwu.

Obidegwu is an experienced player, having spent two seasons at Temple, two at Kent State, and this past year at North Texas. He’s played over 2,100 career snaps on offense, seeing playing time at both tackle positions. This past season was his best, however, and it came at right tackle. Obidegwu didn’t surrender any sacks and allowed 10 pressures over 367 pass-blocking snaps. Among all tackles, he ranked tied for ninth in PFF’s pass-blocking efficiency metric and 68th in run-blocking grade.

Admittedly, this may be quite difficult, given the position that Obidegwu plays. Along with performing well during training camp, a UDFA also has to be at a position where there is an opportunity to make a roster push, and the offensive line room for the Jaguars is quite crowded.
