Manchester United have announced that Jadon Sancho will be departing after his five-year contract comes to an end in June.</p>
<p>There were suggestions that the Red Devils <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/2026/05/21/jadon-sancho-united-set-to-take-surprise-decision-that-will-shock-fans-310403/" target="_blank">could trigger his one-year extension option</a> in order to earn a small fee from his sale but INEOS decided the <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/2026/06/10/man-united-confirm-jadon-sanchos-exit-as-clubs-retained-list-is-released-311313/" target="_blank">player was not worth the hassle</a>.</p>
<p>Of those five years, two-and-a-half years have been spent <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/2025/08/09/all-every-manchester-united-loanee-2025-26-season-297528/" target="_blank">out on loan</a>, with two of those clubs <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/2025/06/03/david-ornstein-jadon-sancho-set-to-return-to-man-united-after-failing-to-agree-terms-with-chelsea-294934/" target="_blank">refusing to sign him on a permanent basis</a>.</p>
<p>That just shows how poor his performances have been, and the £73 million arrival from Borussia Dortmund easily ranks as one of the worst signings in the club&#8217;s history.</p>
<h2>Jadon Sancho has proven to be an abysmal signing for United</h2>
<p>The Englishman is only 26, and he will have to find a new club for himself at a time which should be considered his peak years.</p>

<p>Not too many teams have come up with proposals, but that could change according to <a href="https://x.com/fanatikcomtr/status/2065350105733980464" target="_blank">Fanatik</a>, who have claimed that Besiktas are preparing a contract offer for the <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/tag/jadon-sancho/" target="_blank">England international</a>.</p>
<p>However, as things stand, the winger is likely to turn down the offer as he has eyes on staying in the Premier League.</p>
<p>&#8220;Beşiktaş has taken action for Jadon Sancho. Information has been received that the Black-and-Whites will make an offer in the coming days for the 26-year-old footballer.</p>
<h2>Besiktas preparing summer offer</h2>
<p>&#8220;It has been reported that Sancho, who was also on the list during the mid-season window, prioritises the Premier League.&#8221;</p>
<p>Several English top-flight sides are <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/2026/05/26/jadon-sancho-brentford-hold-talks-with-man-united-flop-as-he-picks-next-move-310625/" target="_blank">interested in the soon-to-be free agent</a>, who is reportedly keen to stay back at Aston Villa, who are yet to take a firm call.</p>
<p>His former club, Borussia Dortmund, stepped away due to <a href="https://thepeoplesperson.com/2026/05/18/jadon-sanchos-hopes-of-sealing-dream-dortmund-return-suffer-setback-310290/" target="_blank">concerns about his form</a> and his humongous wages.</p>
<p>It is clear that Jadon Sancho will have to lower his wage demands if he wants to stay in England.</p>
<p>Otherwise, Türkiye or even the Saudi Pro League seem like his best options at the moment.</p>
