It’s Officially the End of an Era for Apple TV’s 9/10 Sci-Fi Series

Few platforms are operating at the same level with sci-fi shows as Apple TV, which is responsible for dozens of hits just in the last few years. One of the first Apple TV sci-fi shows that comes to mind is Severance, the Adam Scott and Britt Lower-led series that’s directed and produced by Ben Stiller. Apple TV renewed Severance for Season 3 on the same day as the Season 2 finale, but over a year later, there’s still no word yet on when Severance Season 3 will be released — the third season is now in production, though. The same uncertainty also applies to Pluribus, the new Apple TV sci-fi show from creator Vince Gilligan (Breaking Bad) that broke all of Severance‘s records. The show has been picked up for Season 2, but it may not be released until late next year, possibly even in 2028.
