Is Justin Jefferson playing today? Vikings injury update for Week 5
Justin Jefferson is questionable for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints after logging a trio of limited practices this week.
Jefferson missed last week’s game against the Dolphins after suffering a sprained ankle in the team’s Week 3 win over the Buccaneers. But the Louisiana native said Wednesday he was hopeful to return for this week’s game in New Orleans. “The plan is for me to play,” Jefferson said. “But who knows? We’re going to take it day by day.”
As of Sunday morning, his status still remains a question. Jefferson will work out pregame to determine if he can go, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Addison, who is questionable with a hamstring injury, will also work out pregame to determine his status, according to Rapoport. The team elevated newly-signed receiver Odell Beckham Jr. to the active roster Saturday, and the status of Jefferson and Addison will determine if he’s active.
