Inter chief confirms Curtis Jones interest
As relayed by Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan’s sporting director Piero Ausilio has confirmed the club’s interest in Liverpool midfielder, Curtis Jones.
“It’s no secret we’re following Curtis Jones. He’s a player we like, we’re not hiding”, Ausilio said.
“We will see the developments”.
Jones has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield for some time now, and Inter were always the club mentioned the most in that aspect. Though a midfielder by trade, the 25-year-old’s versatility has seen him frequently deployed in the right-back position throughout the 2025-26 season, and his game time was rather limited. However, Liverpool parted ways with head coach Arne Slot at the end of the campaign and have already confirmed Andoni Iraola as his successor, which obviously means much will depend on the way the former Bournemouth boss sees Jones’ role in his squad.
It has been reported that Inter have already had an offer for Jones rejected, but the negotiations continue.
