Injury update for Bills WR Tyrell Shavers

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Tyrell Shavers was the only player that sat out the start of the team’s training camp on Wednesday.

That came about after the team announced his injury designation a day prior.

The Bills wideout was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, as confirmed by the NFL’s transactions wire on Tuesday.

While Shavers is out before training camp workouts even started, it does not come as a surprise.

Shavers’ designation was expected following the torn ACL Shavers suffered during the Bills’ Wild Card road win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2025. Shavers initially played through the injury that day but the extent of his injury was later revealed.

During the practice on Wednesday, Shavers was spotted on the sideline watching the first day of practice while working with the Bills’ medical staff.

Bills Wire will continue to provide updates throughout the 2026 NFL season.
