Indy 500 winners celebrate with a messy milk tradition

Sports has many great traditions. One that has stood the test of time goes along with winning the Indianapolis 500.

On Sunday, one of the 33 drivers will capture the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing.” All it takes is being the best over 200 laps while going more than 230-240 miles per hour at different points on some of them.

When the winning driver gets to Victory Lane, they received the priceless Borg-Warner Trophy and something else that goes with the victory: a bottle of milk.

As you will see it leads to quite the messy celebrations as the winner drinks some of it before dousing themself with the rest.
