I’m Lo Bosworth. I Slack from the bathtub, eat salad for breakfast, and block out time on my calendar for my baby.

This as-told-to essay is based on a conversation with 39-year-old Lo Bosworth, a reality TV star and the founder of Love Wellness, who lives in New York City.

It has been edited for length and clarity.

As far back as my time on “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and “The Hills,” I knew I wanted to build something.

I was always coming up with business ideas; it’s how I express myself creatively.

I founded Love Wellness, my women’s well-being brand, in 2016.

Since having my daughter, Nelle, in January, life has gotten a lot busier.

I launched my podcast, “Tell Me I’m a Good Mom,” a couple of months after having her.

Balancing motherhood, the podcast, and running Love Wellness is a lot of work.

No matter how busy we are, my husband and I always start the day with our daughter and put her to bed together at night.

Those two moments keep us connected as a family.

Here’s a typical day in my life as a first-time mom, podcast host, and founder.

We give Nelle her bottle, and then all of us, including the dog, take a pre-8 a.m. walk.

We’re usually the first people hitting the pavement.

I’m very traditional with my order: drip coffee with half-and-half.

I tend to have only one because I’m sensitive to caffeine.

Our walk is about 15 to 30 minutes, and we’re home by about 8:15 a.m.

Once our nanny arrives, I get ready for the day by taking a bath.

I’m a huge tub girl and bathe twice a day.

This may sound crazy, but I shower first because I don’t want to sit in my sleep juices.

Taking a bath is a huge part of my wellness routine.

It helps me focus, and I do my best thinking in there.

In the bath, I’m Slacking, sending emails, and video-editing.

I don’t really like the idea of breakfast.

If I eat, it’s usually something savory, like leftover salad from the night before.

This morning, I had leftover pea and chicken salad.

On WFH days, which are typically twice a week, I’ll go to my building’s gym for a 35-minute workout before starting work.

Since having my baby, I’ve been doing strength training.

I use Ladder, which connects with Spotify, so I can listen to music while the instructor tells me what to do.

I work from an office in one of our guestrooms.

I have to stay scheduled to make sure I get everything done.

I try to create content for Love Wellness on Mondays and record my podcast on Wednesdays.

I sometimes use AI as a thought partner, for example, when coming up with video ideas for social media, but I don’t need a ton of automation in my workflow, and I don’t like obvious AI slop.

Three to four days a week, I go into the Love Wellness office in NoHo.

I normally leave by 9:30 a.m. and take an Uber.

Office days are filled with calls and in-person meetings.

At the start of the week, we hold leadership meetings to review results, get organized, and hear everyone’s State of the Union.

In meetings, we use FigJam boards to collaborate.

My favorite part of the job is seeing the changes we’re making in the women’s health space.

When Love Wellness entered Target, it was still unusual to see vaginal probiotics on its shelves.

It’s encouraging to see entire aisles shift now.

The hardest part is being responsible for a lot of people.

It keeps me up at night because I care deeply about our team and how they’re doing.

It can be as early as 11 a.m. or as late as 3 p.m.

I never bring lunch to work, so I either run out or get delivery from places like Daily Provisions or Pura Vida.

I’m more than happy to eat during a meeting.

My meeting schedule typically gets a little lighter in the afternoon.

We love to go to the park together.

I put placeholders on my calendar so people don’t schedule meetings when I know I’ll be with her.

We listen to her Toniebox and play with her toys.

We have a really sweet bedtime routine.

Our routine starts at 6:15 p.m. and ends at about 7 p.m.

My husband works in finance, so he comes home early, does bedtime, then gets back online.

Oftentimes, we both keep working after our daughter is asleep.

Whether we get takeout or I cook is 50:50; it depends on how exhausted we are.

I cook a lot of steak, rice, and vegetables.

We get the meat from a great butcher down the street and the vegetables from the farmers market.

That’s when I’m mostly done for the day, although I may check a few more emails.

Sometimes, I like to snack on my guilty pleasure: vegan Percy Pigs.

His sister lives in London, so she mails them to us.

Since I got pregnant, I’ve been reading a lot more before bed.

I loved Lena Dunham’s “Famesick.” This is what a typical day looks like, though it can always get derailed.

If I get sick, or my husband or daughter does, everything can quickly fall apart for days at a time.

Otherwise, my schedule looks very similar week to week.

Staying super scheduled is how I stay productive.
