But here’s what I always wanted to tell them: You might fly often, but you don’t fly on the same aircraft every time. Every plane model is different, and emergency exits aren’t always where you expect them to be.

Taking three short minutes to check where your nearest exit is won’t hurt, and it shows the crew some respect for the safety job we are actually trained to do.
